10 Weekly Goals: Getting Back On Track

In my Weekly Planning Hour I have begun reviewing my yearly goals and setting goals for the week ahead. I have six different life areas that I have set goals in. Reviewing those big yearly intentions and seeing them broken down into smaller weekly goals has been motivating and encouraging. Keeping in mind the 5 habits of a mindful mama, I have even been able to cross some of these goals off my list!

We are back from our unexpected two week stay in Perth (our capital city)! If you missed the news on Ooffa’s operation you can read about it here: Tonsils Out! A Possible Sleep Solution Ooffa is completely back to normal with the added bonus that he can hear and the BIG news, he sleeps through the night at last! Yay! Last week we settled back into routine, organised lots of follow-up appointments with Ooffa’s ‘team’. Now that he has clear hearing we need to touch base with his occupational therapist (OT), speech therapist and audiologist and make new plans to go forward from here. I really tried to keep this week’s goals down to ten but there really is a lot going on so there’s an extra goal in there this week.

Homemaker

Complete one task from 31 Day House Cleaning Challenge: Tuesday 5th May & Sunday 11th May

~ complete Master Monthly Shopping Inventory (Almost finished)

Work/Financial

~ Review spending in April. Set goals for May.

~ Review effectiveness of YNAB program for our family

Blog

~ Complete ‘How to take awesome photos with your smart phone’ RSB module
~ write and schedule blog posts one week in advance: kids Co-op, weekly play + an activity post; weekly goals & menu
~ 10 minutes on Daily Traffic Checklist
~ comment on other blogs using Bloglovin

Family

~ Review our weekly rhythm

~ Plan special family outing

Personal/Health

~ begin new walking exercise program
~ eat four pieces of fruit everyday

~ Read new chapter of Cyndi O’Meara

Craft

Print photos for Project Life album Chook: 2012, 2013; Twins: 2013, 2014, 2015

~ Complete one task from 31 Day House Cleaning Challenge: Friday 25th May

~ complete Master Monthly Shopping Inventory

Work/Financial

~ Devise a Facebook Posting Strategy for client

~ Liaise with Bluehost in getting domain transferred

~ Complete ‘Post Scheduling’ RSB module

~ write and schedule blog posts one week in advance:  weekly play + an activity post; weekly goals & menu; organisation post

~ 10 minutes on Daily Traffic Checklist

Family

~ Begin home school planning for Ooffa

Personal/Health

~ reach 10000 steps in the 10000 MyFitnessPal Challenge

~ eat four pieces of fruit everyday

Craft

~ create storage for cards that are for sale.
