10 Weekly Goals: Igniting Passions!

In my Weekly Planning Hour I have begun reviewing my yearly goals and setting goals for the week ahead. I have six different life areas that I have set goals in. Reviewing those big yearly intentions and seeing them broken down into smaller weekly goals has been motivating and encouraging. Keeping in mind the 5 habits of a mindful mama, I have even been able to cross some of these goals off my list!

An update on how I did on my goals last week:

Homemaker

~ Complete one task from 31 Day House Cleaning Challenge: Friday 25th May (This is an area I really need to get onto!)

~ complete Master Monthly Shopping Inventory (I’ve noticed this list keeps changing, so I’m going to focus on our Menu Plans for a while)

Work/Financial

~ Devise a Facebook Posting Strategy for client

~ Liaise with Bluehost in getting domain transferred

Blog

~ Complete ‘Post Scheduling’ RSB module

~ write and schedule blog posts one week in advance:  weekly play + an activity post; weekly goals & menu; organisation post

~ 10 minutes on Daily Traffic Checklist

Family

~ Begin home school planning for Ooffa

Personal/Health

~ reach 10000 steps in the 10000 MyFitnessPal Challenge

~ eat four pieces of fruit everyday

Craft

~ create storage for cards that are for sale.

It may look like not a lot got achieved but in reality I worked diligently through all my goals last week! I titled this post Igniting Passions because that’s exactly what is happening around here. In each of my life areas there are big things happening right now! All at once! I just have to remember to be kind to myself and slow down. Thank goodness for these Weekly Goal posts and limiting them to ten tasks, otherwise I would have a to-do list with a million wonderful things I’d like to achieve. Having this Weekly Goal post allows me to take my time, savor the excitement of new beginnings and bursts of creativity.

Homemaker

~ Complete one task from 31 Day House Cleaning Challenge: Friday 5th June

~ create Menu Plan for the week

Work/Financial

~ Review FB Insights with client for the past week of new strategy

Blog

~ Complete Module 4 Parts 1 & 2

~ write and schedule blog posts one week in advance:  weekly play + an activity post; weekly goals & menu; organisation post

~ FB scheduling

Family

~ Continue home school planning for Ooffa – collating resources

Personal/Health

~ reach 10000 steps in the 10000 MyFitnessPal Challenge

~ eat four pieces of fruit everyday

Craft

~ pretty up the storage box for cards that are for sale.
