  1. I have subscribed via email…
My favourite and interesting puzzle for my son was made by his grandfather ( my dad ).
It was made by cutting pieces that fit together from a picture showing all the members of our extended family. Till today my son loves to play with this puzzle and teach his little brother about all our relatives who lives in different parts of the world…..
My dad laminated all the pieces of the puzzle and it is going really strong….

  2. When I was 11, I tackled a 2000 piece puzzle, a period piece with lots of vegetation, elegant ladies – reminiscent of a Renoir scene. I took over the dining table and carried on a treat if anyone went near the puzzle. Therefore our dinner meals were taken on a little round coffee table, taking turns to eat. This continued for an unbelievable 6 months until I completed it. I look back now and don’t know how my mother tolerated it or even gave in to me.

Sorry kids but I don’t have the same fortitude with you. Besides you can buy clear tablecloths now to solve the problem – put it over the top and voila. Although this does cause arguments in our family as everyone wants to put that special piece in whilst contemplating over dinner.

  3. My son’s favorite puzzle is fire truck puzzle that makes the siren sound once it is put together. He loves farm animals and know he would love this puzzle. Thanks for the giveaway!

  4. My favourite puzzle story was a family who upon their daughters having a boyfriend ask to date them… the boy had to buy a 1000 piece puzzle and over the course of a few weeks complete it with the family!! It wasn’t until it was completed that he could go on a date with the girl… a tad old fashioned yes, but a great sentiment and love that the family got to know the guy first! The catch was that the last piece was ‘missing’…. held by the father who placed the final piece and gave his approval! Cool huh!?

  5. I love Melissa & Doug toys and crafts. My kids love their beading set (which is not a puzzle I know). For a puzzle we have this big Dora floor jigsaw puzzle that the girls could do by themselves at an early age, must be the big pieces or something that makes it easier for them so I am attached to that one 🙂

  6. Puzzles are a great way to give my little pickle little victories. He looks so proud of himself when he puts something exactly in place. It’s just a marvelous thing. We have another sound puzzle and it is hilarious hearing him imitating the sounds: police, firetruck, … 😀

  7. My daughter is almost 2 and her favorite puzzle right now is the large shapes jumbo knob play set. What she loves the most about it is to pretend she is putting the wrong piece in place and say “no”. So it goes: “No, no, no, no, yayyy!” And applauds herself when really, she knows exactly where the piece goes 🙂
Would love to win the farm animal set – she is very fond of animals! Thanks for organizing this giveaway!
