Monday is Story Day

We read Can I Cuddle the Moon? by Kerry Brown. Chook is so familiar with this book that we did a shared reading of it. He ‘read’ the questions asked by little owl and I read the answers given. Such a gorgeous book to cuddle up to on the couch 🙂 I wasn’t able to find a copy on Amazon for you but Booktopia has a copy.

The illustrations by Lisa Stewart are beautiful and have inspired some paper play with pretty scrap booking paper.

Exploring the new playground at the Tanker Jetty. Chook loves this are of the playground as it provides lots of opportunities to engage one’s imagination with nature. There are lots of natural play objects available (wooden steps, balance logs, trees to climb) with the addition of wonderful adventure playground equipment.
